Originally posted to Illustration Friday as a promotional for this website, Elbis has become a force the artist is still trying to reckon with. When asked about his inspiration for the comic, in a recent interview, the artist, Mulele Jarvis commented, “I dunno, I’m just trying to keep up…” Although, Mr. Jarvis could not be reached for comment before publication, it is widely rumored a ghostwriter is being used as Mr. Jarvis, himself cannot write or read.

This reporter, for one, welcomes the return of Elbis and is looking forward to the further far-out adventures of his favorite feline.
