Karasu-Tengu are a type of Shinto Yokai. The Tengu were originally thought to take the forms of birds of prey, and they are traditionally depicted with both human and avian characteristics.

From a series of 52 Yokai illustrations to promote my 2018 book, Yakai: Night Mystery. I later made a postcard print available to anyone who orders the book. On instagram I took time-lapse videos of me painting these illustrations. All of them can be found here.
